STUDENT LIFE

Athletics

Our athletics program consists of the students who wish to grow in their athletic skills. The coaching staff help teach the players what it take to be a succesful team. They teach them that it is good to always boost their team members up when they are having a bad game, to always have a good attitude on and off the court, and to know that whatever they do, do it with all their strength. Every game our Warriors leave it all on the court and everything thing that they do, they do it ALL FOR GOD! That's our motto.

Piano Lessons

Each year, Mrs. Araral helps teach the younger students who are interested in playing piano and trains them throughout the year to become the best pianist that they can be. They learn many valuable keys in each practice to help them in their development.

Children's Choir

If you like to sing this is your stop! Mrs. Ybarra one of  our church's platform singers, helps the younger children learn all of the techni-ques and skills it takes to sing beautiful. At the end of every year the children's choir perform in front of the student body to show everyone how their hard work in singing paid off.

Performing Arts

Our students here at New Harvest Christian School hold an annual Talent Show in which they share a message through the acting and dancing that they portray on stage. All of the hard work each students puts in is in hopes of ministering to any of the unsaved family or friends that go and see them perform. Everyone always does a great job and it is fun seeing everything come together.

Visual Arts

The visual arts program is the newest activity that we have added to our school. It consists of drawing, photography, video, audio, and filmmaking. The students learn about all the important tools and techniques it takes to draw, and all the skills it takes to operate on a computer. They develop knowledge in all the different programs they use. It always great seeing what the students can do while in class.

A.C.E. Convention

Attending the annual student ACE Convention is what our high school students have been doing for the past 6 years now. It is a great experience for them to make lots of new friends and compete in different events and activities. The Convention is held at Cal Baptist University in Riverside, CA. It takes place during the second week of March and our students stay at a hotel nearby for a whole week. It is always great seeing the students come back and sharing their experiences.
